Explore the natural history of Valley Floor residents the Long-tailed Weasel (Mustela frenata) and Short-tailed Weasels (Mustela erminea), also called stoats or ermine. These beautiful creatures are brown in the summer and stark white in the dead of winter...with a spot of black on the tip of the tail.
